Camp Becket of the YMCA in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains is rustic with a charming vintage feel. It is set on 1,300 forested acres alongside of a pristine, spring-fed private 100-acre lake with two beach waterfronts. Experience camp by flashlight and lantern in a traditional spacious woodsy cabin (private single, double or shared, your choice) with a nearby centrally located modern washhouse or, if electricity and indoor plumbing are your priority, choose a private room in historic Gibson Hall.
Campers bring their own towels, linens, sleeping pillow and blanket. Three healthy (adult-style) meals (with options for vegetarians and vegans), including a full salad bar at both lunch and dinner are served daily.

Camp Unleashed Referral Program rewards you with a $25 registration credit for each new camper that attends a session because of your recommendation. We track referrals from new campers’ registration form responses to the question “Were you referred to Camp Unleashed? If yes, by whom?” Bring a friend or tell your whole dog park about Camp Unleashed and reap the rewards and our appreciation! |
Four accommodation choices are available or participants can really rough it by bringing their own tents. All campers and dogs bunk together!
Camp Unleashed Berkshire Package Rates (per person): Fee includes all costs of lodging, all meals and all programming.
- Shared Cabin (3-4 people) $799 per person
- Double-occupancy cabin $849 per person*
- Single-occupancy cabin $899
- On-site in your own tent: $749 per person
- Offsite Single or Double Occupancy $899*
Note: Single, Double, & Shared Options
Choose the lodging accommodation that best suits your needs. Rates for Single, Double & Shared vary with the number of people per cabin or room: "Single Occupancy" provides one person a private cabin or room. Shared Housing accommodations are designed to house multiple campers. "Double Occupancy" provides one cabin for two people with separate beds. "Shared Cabin" is designed to house multiple campers of three or more people (although alcoves provide some privacy). If you would like to register for camp, but need to be matched with a suitable cabinmate(s), we will find one for you! Simply check the box on the registration form or call us to discuss options.
*If 2 people are sharing a cabin as Double Occupancy and have only one dog (together), the fee for the second person is only $399. Work exchange/scholarships are available. Please call us to discuss.

Payment / Cancellation Policies
- A $200 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, per person, guarantees your reservation. Daily camper fees must be paid in full at time of reservation.
- All camp fees must be paid in full 30 days prior to camp session.
- Returned checks are subject to $30 fee.
- Cancellations made 30 to 60 days prior to camp session, will receive a 50% refund of paid fees, less the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than one month prior to camp session are not subject to any refund of paid fees or deposit.
- Discount for Adopted Dogs: Camp Unleashed supports the adoption of dogs by offering a $25 discount off of the camp fee if you adopted your dog from a shelter or rescue group. If this applies to you, please include a copy of youradoption agreement along with your reservation so we can apply the discount to your balance.
- Discount for Nonprofit Professionals: If you work full time for a nonprofit organization, Camp Unleashed acknowledges your contribution to the common good and will reduce your camp fee by 15%. If this applies to you, please include a copy of your business card or other form of identification. This discount may not be combined with other credits or discounts.
- Scholarships/Work Trade: If you are interested in applying for either of the above please email woof@campunleashed.com for details and an application.
- Thank You/Rewards Program: Effective January 1, 2009 each time you attend a session of Camp Unleashed, you will receive 50 thank you points. When you reach 250 points, you will be entitled to a free session of your choice! It is our way of saying thank you for your continued business and enjoyment!
