Heather Jaynes Marcellino, Flyball 

Heather began playing flyball with her collie, Breeze, back in 1999, to provide an outlet for her wonderful, but excessive energy, and to take advantage of her obsession with balls. Little did Heather know that ten years later she would be the Captain of Peak City Flyball and have the fastest collie in the country in the sport!  Heather has also been a vet tech and a research scientist and has trained dogs for over 20 years starting with the Greater Raleigh Dog Training Club.  She has trained and competed in flyball, agility, herding, rally, and conformation dog shows and has taught agility, puppy classes, and flyball for several years.   All four of her collies have their Delta Pet Partners therapy dog certifications, and all visit Duke Children’s Hospital where she has been volunteering since 1998.
