Hike in a lush natural setting. Take a canoe ride or go for a swim. Meet new friends. Camp Green Cove’s campus is a safe, relaxing haven from the stresses of the world. You may enjoy organized activities. Discover your dog’s talent for Agility, Dock Diving, Scent Games and more. Paint your inner dog in a Barks & Crafts workshop. Learn new tricks with your dog. Hear presentations on the latest dog behavior science and nutrition. Howl around the evening campfire. Or just hang out together and do nothing at all.
Camp Unleashed Asheville is a weekend retreat limited to 50 people and their dogs. Keeping the group small makes it a more personal, more relaxing experience, and gives everyone a chance to focus on more meaningful relationships. Daily activities are planned to keep the dogs active and participatory. Presentations and workshops teach campers how to take the best care of their dog. Sports are led by experts to engage the dogs and help campers understand how to maximize their dog's abilities. Participation in activities is optional. Some campers may choose to simply relax by the lake.
You may arrive at camp the first day between 1:00 and 2:30 pm. Our first activity starts at 2:45 pm. On the last day, we finish at 3:00 pm.
At Green Cove, all the cabins have electricity. Pairs of cabins have an indoor bathroom with shower between them (each cabin has its own door to the shared bathroom). Cabins are furnished simply with twin-size bunk beds and cubby holes for your belongings. Extra mattresses are available to double up for cushier padding or you may bring your own air mattress. All campers and dogs bunk together.
Campers bring their own dog food, towels, and a sleeping bag or bedding. Three healthy adult meals (with options for vegetarians and vegans) are served daily, including a full salad bar at both lunch and dinner.
You may choose Single-Occupancy, Double-Occupancy or Shared Cabin (three to four people, same sex) accommodations. If you would like to take advantage of the less expensive Double Occupancy rate, but are coming to camp alone, we will match you with a compatible person and dog based on your registration information.

Single-Occupancy Cabin $999
* If two people with only one dog between them are sharing a Double Occupancy cabin, the fee for the second person is only $630.
Discounts are available. We encourage you to refer your friends and receive a $25 discount for each referral.
Once your balance is paid in full (approximately eight weeks prior to camp start date), you will be sent a Camp Unleashed Asheville Orientation Packet via email, including forms to return, a list of what to bring, directions, details about program activities and other important particulars.

Payment / Cancellation Policies
A $200 per person non-refundable, non-transferable deposit guarantees your reservation. (If your dog is not accepted you will receive a complete refund.) The full amount of the package you select must be paid 60 days before camp.Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable unless there is a medical reason for either the person or dog and we have a medical or veterinary doctor's signature to that effect. Under those circumstances we will either transfer the deposits to another session or return 50% of the total. The final balance is not due till 60 days prior to the session start date.
Returned checks are subject to $30 fee.
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to camp will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to camp session are not subject to any refund of paid fees or deposit.
